hello!!!

This is my first post, I was going to do an intro, but I assume most of you already know me lol. I am going to share with you the the best day of my entire life. I have been a fan of R5 for 2 and a half years now. I have seen the band twice: a private acoustic session I won through a radio station and at the Fresno fair in California. Ever since I had first seen them I wanted to go to another concert. I knew R5 was going on tour in 2015. For my birthday I asked for tickets but the dates had not been released. In April I found out that they were heading on tour. August 15th, Cuthbert Amphitheatre Eugene OR. I just about freaked. Dad purchased the tickets and the days moved along slowly. Months passed and the date just kept getting closer and closer. The night before I could not sleep, i'd been waiting for this day for 11 months. In the morning we packed up, picked up IZ and were off to Eugene. I have no idea how many times we listened to the album all the way through, but it was a lot. We got the mall for Rydel's signing for her bookazine, and waited in line. She arrived, we both got a signature, picture and said hello. We drove to the hotel, (La Quinta Inn) signed in, and got to the room. Ate lunch, watched some family feud, joked about our great view of the parking lot, snacked on gummy bears and Lays potato chips. lol. We took a nice walk to the venue, which consisted of a cute puppy, getting kinda lost (dad swore he knew the way) stepping in grass with 100 bees at our heels and walking through the Frisbee golf course. We stood on this fence attempting to see R5, uh didn't really work that well. We spent 30 minutes trying to decide if it was Ryland, Ross or Riker 500 feet away. Oh and IZ screamed "ROSS LYNCH" at the top of her lungs like 5 times... don't really know where she was going with that. Stalking a band 101 below:
Then we walked to the Autzen Stadium in hope to watch the Ducks football practice. Apparently you have to have to be a season ticket holder... but we got a cute picture anyway so hahaha
We looked in the store and at the heisman trophy through the window. I thought it was really cool and then dad was like "do you even know what it is?" and I laughed and he had to tell me, (I had no idea). After, we went back to the hotel to get ready for the night. We walked back to the venue, got our tickets, and sound check wristbands, then we were in!!

We got into sound check, got our swag bags LOL, tasted some Nancy's yogurt samples, waited in the 20 person long bathroom line, got our shirts, waved to Jacob from a distance (he waved back haha) and sat in the grass. fun times. OK so funny story- my uncle john knows the drummer for R5's opening act- Jacob Whitesides. He has connections. S/O to my fave uncle you rock:-) So Kenny, the drummer, got us backstage passes. So we met him by all these scary security guards and he gave us these stickers that said "working" on them so we could get backstage, no problem, any time. When we walked in Ryland was right there, (hes the DJ for R5/brother and opens for them as well). We got pictures with him as well and hes super nice and chill. Thanks RY.

Then Kenny showed us the buses and took us to Jacob's tour bus. We got pictures with him and two hugs. He is the best hugger honestly.

Ryland was about to go on for his set and Kenny was so chill and was like "yea if you want you can go up on stage and watch" and i was like "oooook cool" ***runs on stage*** not really haha. And so Ry did his thing and he was incredible. He looked back at me and IZ a few times, oh and squirted water on us lol.

Wow great dancing Hailey^^^ haha so yea and then we met Jacob's guitarist before he went on and got a pic with Kenny.
Then Jacob went on and he rocked it. Kenny slays to omg. We went to our seats to watch him from the front and he looked at us and smiled cause we were some of the only ones standing. Then we went backstage again and were going to give him high fives but he hugged us instead. :-) IZ saw Ross and his girlfriend playing with a remote control car-- they were literally 20 feet away and so I turned around and we watched them (not creepily, don't worry haha) and then the whole band came out and did their cheer thing before they went on. Ross was jumping up and down like warming up and we were laughing kinda. He looked at me, I waved and he saluted me (its his weird thing I think he thinks hes a soldier or something haha). They went on and killed it. They were amazing. Ross looked at me in feel good and I died. So yea don't know how I'm writing this. Then we went back on stage for the encore and stood right by Courtney (ross' gf) and that was pretty awesome.

 We are on the right^^
<<<reaching for the stars haha
Then they went off stage and I high fived them. Ryland asked if we had a good night and we were like "yes omg thank you." so yeaaaaa wow this is the longest post ever, I did not imagine it to be this long. So of you read the whole thing wow, hope you enjoyed. Best night of my life. 8.15.15
